Full over range transmission kit

When the Big Deps engine and the Malossi engine crankcase are pushed to the limit, the transmission need to be able to withstand the strain. That’s why the Malossi Over Range was developed: a complete system designed to support ever-increasing performance.

Larger pulley, total control

The core feature of this kit is the new Fixed Pulley in the torque driver system, consisting of an increased diameter compared to its original. This enhancement extends to the transmission ratio range.

What result does it provide? More effective acceleration and top performance at all times, as the variator operates better and fully harnesses the available power.

But we didn't stop there. To ensure strength and durability, the pulley was made with special materials and treated with a particular thermochemical process resistance and mechanical strength which greatly increases its wear making it practically indestructible. This fixed pulley works perfectly with the Malossi Torque Driver, which has the same diameter.

MULTIVAR MHR 3.0

A Multivar MHR completes the system, featuring roller tracks for maximum efficiency, a reinforced contrast spring for a faster response, a hub – longer than the previous one – to fit a stronger belt and optimise transmission ratios.

The Multivar MHR is the evolution of previous generations, bringing Malossi’s racing experience and CAD-CAM technology directly to your engine, delivering top-level technical performance.

To make the most of the torque driver range and the power output of modern racing vehicles, we have also developed the Malossi Special Belt (sold separately). This toothed belt has an increased cross-section and an updated length, ensuring maximum efficiency in all conditions.

PLEASE NOTE: after installing the Malossi Over Range, it will no longer be possible to pedal-start your vehicle. We recommend using our pull-start kit art. 5019908 (sold separately).

The kit includes:

• Multivar MHR Variator
  Why should you choose the Multivar MHR? At Malossi we have completely redesigned this variation, starting from its roller tracks, its longer hub, and right down to the contrast spring.

• Torque Driver
  This allows the integration of a true torque driver system with double sliding tracks for customised shifting curves.

• Fixed and mobile pulleys with an increased diameter widened from 100 mm to 110 mm
• Fixed and mobile pulleys welded into a single piece with a special surface-treated bushing

• Fly Clutch
  A 107mm clutch, redesigned with new masses to match the reversed rotation direction compared to standard scooters. A Malossi spring system for optimised engagement RPM. Two optional spring kits available for customised tuning.

• Wing Clutch Bell
  A reinforced clutch bell with a finned cooling ring. It perfectly matches the Fly Clutch for high-performance use.

• Primary Gear Shaft

It has been modified to accommodate the scooter-derived pulley and clutch system.
It has a reinforced shaft with an increased Ø 13.5mm stem. It comes with a nut, an oil seal, and a roller shell for easy installation.

• Special Belt (sold separately)
  It has a 23% wider section (widened from 13mm to 16mm) for enhanced durability and grip
