MALOSSI TRACTION FREE
Malossi Traction Free is a device designed especially for Yamaha TMax 530 and 560 cc maxiscooters to inhibit traction control and/or the vehicle’s speed limiter.
The device has been designed to ensure that all tuning stages proposed by Malossi for this particular vehicle can express their utmost potential, bypassing the limitations set by the parent company for the standard vehicle.
Since Malossi tunings are designed mainly for use on the track, it was important that an overly invasive traction control be excluded, and that the maximum speed the vehicle was able to reach not be subjected to a control system. All this without interfering with the vehicle's electronic systems.
Technical features
4 selectable functions using the 4-position rotary switch:
- Bypass => resets the original configuration
- Tcs-off => disables traction control
- Limit-off => disables the speed limiter
- Tcs+Lim => disables traction control and the speed limiter
