We suggest to use the O₂ controller to further optimize both carburetion and performances in transistors.

In latest generation motorcycles, thanks to lambda sensor, the CDI can rectify the fuel quantity to be injected in order to reach a constant carburetion even in Closed Loop area.

The O₂ controller permits to totally control the carburetion as to obtain the best air/fuel ratio.

Malossi Lambda emulator is a device able to simulate signals from lambda sensor which original CDI is expected to receive. In this way, original lambda sensor is used to obtain best carburetion without the original CDI noticing failures or mistakes.

• Does the lambda emulator adjust itself?

  Once mounted, the emulator works autonomously and requires no further calibration.

• Is the emulator suitable for enriching the carburetion and how much does it change consumption and performance having already fitted a variator and a non-catalysed exhaust?

  Our emulator enriches the carburetion by 5% in transients and does not work at full throttle. It improves pick-up and acceleration. In terms of consumption, the difference is almost imperceptible.

• Can the lambda emulator be mounted on a production vehicle?

  Yes. The installation of our control unit is not indispensable.

• Does the lambda emulator affect vehicle performance?

  The emulator fattens the carburetion and makes the vehicle perform better in the medium and low rev range. It does not intervene at full throttle.

• How should the emulator be installed in euro 5+ versions with the dual lambda sensor?

  Our emulator works correctly if both probes are installed in the vehicle and must be installed on the probe closest to the exhaust manifold (the one before the catalytic converter).
