VARPLUS
The variator in the variator.

By replacing and combining the 18 supplied rollers, you can control the opening from 2500 to 8500 rpm gradually.
VARPLUS allows you to optimise the use of your engine to the maximum and achieve great energy savings.

OPERATION

Rotation imparts the necessary push to the masses, depending on their weight, to make the half-pulley move on its axis.

By increasing the speed of rotation, the push and the advance of the pulley increase accordingly and inversely if the speed of rotation is decreased.

By increasing the weight of the masses at the same speed, the push increases. The opposite occurs if the weight of the masses is decreased.

Technical features

• Highly mechanically resistant silicone aluminium half-pulley, Ø 115 mm, extremely light and free of external roughness.
• Equipped with 6 roller tracks, with calculated inclination, driven in the centre by a special self-lubricating bronze bush, filled with PTFE (highly fluid, maintenance-free material).
• Mobile half-pulley bearing driven by two interchangeable nylon guide bushes that slide in ground holes, avoiding torsional stresses on the rollers that cause friction and wear.
• This system gives the variator greater efficiency along with a greater smoothness and eliminates chaotic effects.
