for Minarelli - Yamaha engines
The never-ending (incessant) power increase drove us to design (project) an extraordinary variator!
The innovative elements of this new MHR variator for OVER RANGE are:
- far better running (running further improved);
- rollers from Ø 16x13 to Ø 19x15.5, to grant a longer gear
curve;
- reinforced variator structure on bushing side, to allow greater
stability and length in gear curve.
No wonder then if with a variator that features such sophisticated engineering, your scooter suddenly has that extra sprint, a consistency in shifting, a greater mechanical "ease" at high speeds and a constancy in performance you've never experienced before with the original version.

Is it possible to fit variator 5112800 if the vehicle is all original?
The variator must be combined with the over range. It is mountable on the scooter, but performance does not improve at all.

I need to replace the rollers in my Malossi variator. I would like to know what roller weight I can fit to get more snap compared to the configuration you have assembled.
The variators are supplied with the optimum calibration for us. It is possible to customise them to your liking according to the preparation of the vehicle, drawing on the very wide range of rollers available.
