After Multivar's MHR great success, Malossi introduces to its public a new variator for the TMax. Designed and developed for SPORT use and not racing!

With this new variator, Malossi is targeting all those who desire to transform their Tmax into a decisively higher performing vehicle, while maintaining an overall Touring feel.

These new variators demonstrate the excellence of the MHR version, that is:

• High surface fi nish steel bushings lubricated with mineral-based Malossi MRG grease
• New one-piece rollers made of an innovative material guaranteeing higher performance

The Malossi engineer's meticulous work designing the roller ramp curves guarantee an optimum performance both in "standing start" acceleration and "at speed" acceleration at a non-excessive engine speed, as required by a vehicle primarily used for Sport-Touring.

The variators are supplied with two sets of rollers and spacers permitting the modifi cation of the scooter's RPM shifting curve according to the user's requirements and results in a service life equal to or better than the original.

No wonder then if with a variator that features such sophisticated engineering, your scooter suddenly has that extra sprint, a consistency in shifting, a greater mechanical "ease" at high speeds and a constancy in performance you've never experienced before with the original version.

Faq

• I need to replace the rollers in my Malossi variator. I would like to know what roller weight I can fit to get more snap compared to the configuration you have assembled.

  The variators are supplied with the optimum calibration for us. It is possible to customise them to your liking according to the preparation of the vehicle, drawing on the very wide range of rollers available.

• Should I also fit the spring supplied in the Malossi variator or can I leave the original spring?

  If supplied, we recommend fitting the spring in the multivar.

• How often should I change the rollers and sliders of the Malossi variator?

  Our variators do not require any different maintenance than the original variator, so please follow the instructions in the vehicle's 'Use and Maintenance' booklet.
